Time: 1:00pm – 3:30 pm
Join with us for our Annual “Turkey Trot” down the sidewalks of Inman Ave. The Trot will assemble in the School 21 Parking Lot at 12:30pm (walk will leave at 1:00pm). We will walk/trot down the street to the Evergreen Center where we will have crafts, refreshments, hay rides, pumpkin painting and entertainment.
BUSINESS OWNERS/ORGANIZATIONS/SCHOOLS – HELP US DECORATE INMAN AVENUE…
Make a scarecrow from your organization, business or school and enter it into our Scarecrow Contest. Scarecrows will be displayed at the Evergreen Center the day of the walk where we will vote for the best scarecrow. Then they will be displayed down Inman Avenue for Thanksgiving.
Your cost for this event is a food item/items that we can use for Thanksgiving Baskets for needy families in Woodbridge Township (Full Baskets are also great). The scarecrows/items/baskets can be dropped off at the Evergreen Center the day of the Trot anytime after 11:30am or you are welcome to carry your scarecrow & food items down the Avenue or wheel them down in a wagon. If you can’t walk with us and would still like to donate food for our pantries it can be dropped off at the Evergreen Center that day after 11:30am.
