Gill Lane Traffic Advisory
On or about Friday, October 18th milling and paving operations will commence on Gill Lane (from Rte. 1 to Conrail Railroad Bridge). Due to some constraints and heavy traffic volume, Gill Lane will be closed to thru traffic but open to local businesses for an estimated 4 days between 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Variable message signs have been posted advising the public to take alternate route. There will be some traffic disruptions and inconvenience to businesses and commuters traveling this area during the reconstruction. We will try to minimize the impact as much as possible.
Traffic directors (police officers) will be posted at key locations to guide motorists.
