Woodbridge Billiards 12th annual Toy Drive Extravaganza this holiday season was a tremendous success!  With the help and generosity of many people, this fundraiser turned out to be the biggest Holiday event ever sponsored by our Club within the Township.  The Club was able to bring joy to 32 families and their 82 children in need within our community during this Holiday season.
The club collected over 400 toys of every variety for the children between the ages 2 – 17 years old along with gift cards and cash donations that were used to buy additional gift cards from local grocery stores for the families.

An effort like this requires a great deal of planning, organization, teamwork and resources.  Accordingly, I would like to acknowledge and personally thank the following people and organizations who directly participated in this event for their tireless efforts and dedication in making this a total team effort:
Woodbridge Township Senior Billiards Club Executive Board: Steve Sharkey, Joe Keber, Pat Trombetta, Joe Cafaro, Joe Onuska. Members: Wayne Collins, Manny Valles, Harry Witt, Supporters: Nina Blackwell, Julie Cafaro, Joan Collins, Roe Sharkey.
Woodbridge Police Officers, Mark Zeno and Anna Radowski, their department and the Woodbridge PBA along with Woodbridge Emergency Management/WFD, Pat Kenney
Woodbridge Township Councilwomen Debbie Meehan & Nancy Drumm
Woodbridge Community Center Director Brian Molnar and his staff, Paul Losik
Jane Dulemba and Alison Gibardi.

And a very special acknowledgment and THANK YOU to our own Pat Trombetta who was the organizer and leader of this fundraiser.  He developed the tactical plan, mobilized the necessary resources from around the Township to participate, and then ensured that the plan was carried out resulting in bringing joy and happiness into the lives of many Township families and children in need.  Job well done, Pat!

Finally, thank you to the members of our Club, the local Police/Fire/EMT Departments, the Township Administration and the Mayor’s Office for all your support and generosity for making this such a successful event particularly during a very tough year. Wishing you and your families a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful New Year!
