The Middlesex County Office of Health Services invites residents to take steps toward better health at its Walk with a Doc: Fall Walk Series – Get Stroke Smart! running from September through November at Johnson Park in Piscataway.
This FREE, family-friendly series combines light exercise with expert-led stroke education. Over three events, participants will learn how to recognize the warning signs of a stroke, explore treatment options, understand risk factors, and discover prevention strategies.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect directly with medical professionals, ask questions, and receive free blood pressure screenings provided by the Comprehensive Stroke Center at RWJUH New Brunswick.
WHEN: The event series will run from September through November, from 11 am – 1 pm:
11 am–12 pm: Blood Pressure Screenings
12–1 pm: Stroke Education and Walk With a Doc
