The Office of the Mayor, the Municipal Council and the Woodbridge Township Interfaith Clergy Council will host: “A Township Remembers: An Interfaith Memorial Service and Salute to the First Response Community” on Friday, September 10, 2021. The Memorial Service and Salute to the Woodbridge Township First Response community is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM from the Township Event Stage located on the grounds behind Woodbridge High School (Samuel Lupo Place).

This year, the 9/11 Remembrance Service will offer a special Recognition and Salute to our First Response Community – Woodbridge Township Police Department (WPD), Woodbridge Township Fire Department(s), and First Aid Squad(s) and Emergency Management and CERT personnel- for outstanding service to our community in the 20 years following the aftermath of September 11, 2001.

We invite you to share in the 20th Anniversary remembrance program as we honor and remember those who perished in the “Attack on America” and as we offer a special recognition to our Woodbridge Township First Response Community who aid and comfort our Community during events of crisis.
