On Monday, May 4, 2020, Elizabeth Police Department escorted Detective Eddie Lozada back to his Colonia home after being cleared and released from JFK hospital in Edison. Detective Lozada tested positive for COVID-19 and had been hospitalized fighting for his life since the beginning of March. Welcome Home Detective and thank you to the Elizabeth Police Department for the beautiful tribute to their fellow brother in blue. God bless all our Police Officers, stay safe!
